MEET YOUR TRAINER
I believe the most profound transformations happen when we learn to speak the same language as our dogs. My compassionate, science-driven approach guides both you and your canine partner toward a balanced, joyful life together.

In my second year of college, I was looking for a part time job when I stumbled across a job posting for Petsmart. They were hiring a new trainer for their in store training classes. I applied, and that is how I started my journey for professional dog training.
I was there for almost two years, and in that time I worked with 100+ dogs and owners. I was taught by multiple different trainers across three stores, and gained a lot of hands on experience. During that time I adopted my dog, Tully, and continued learning my training style out of work.
Dog training, to me, is not linear. There are good days, hard days, days when you just don't want to do anything. I have learned all of that in the course of my work. It is fun for me to work with dogs and their owners. I do this work for the sense of accomplishment I feel after seeing how a dogs training has progressed.

We focus on rewarding desired behaviors rather than punishing mistakes. This builds a joyful, eager learner and strengthens the bond between you and your dog without resorting to fear.
Every technique we use is grounded in modern ethology and learning theory. By understanding how dogs naturally think, process information, and perceive the world, we create lasting change.
Training isn't just for dogs—it's for you. We teach you how to fluently read canine body language and communicate your expectations, eliminating frustration on both ends of the leash.
Every great trainer has stories of their own dogs. My own dogs have been the backbone of my practice. From my childhood dog to my current pup, these dogs have shown me what it was to have a love for dogs.

Tully is my current dog. She is around two years old and I got her from the shelter three years ago. I started my dog training journey with her and she has taught me a lot. Tully is my adventure buddy. We go on a lot of hikes around the hill country and she loves the beach.
Sunny was my childhood dog. My family got her when I was five years old, so I did not have a very active role in her training, but I watched my dad do the work. She was the most well behaved dog in the family and that was all because of him. Watching my dad with Sunny gave me the idea that this was something I could do in my future. Both of them inspired this journey and I would not have had the confidence if I hadn't grown up with Sunny.

You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. Taking the first step is the hardest part, but it opens the door to a lifetime of understanding and joy with your dog. Let’s start the journey together.
